Bicentennial Quarter Bonanza Rare Coins

On the Occasion of the 200th Independence Anniversary the U.S. Government changed the reserve side which means the back side of the Bicentennial Coins. These coins are Dollar, quarter, and Half dollar. The back side of these coins have been changed as a symbol of Nations 200th Years of Freedom. These small coins are small pieces of historical and cultural heritage. This rare coin’s information was released by the Federal Reserve System with the help of Commercial Banks in the beginning of 7th July 1975. This information is announced by George P. Shultz & Mrs. Mary Brooks who are Secretary of the Treasury and Director of Mint respectively. The National Bicentennial Coin Design Competition is used to select the designs for the reserve or tail side of the coin. The winners of this competition make designs for the coins and were awarded with $5000. These coins were produced at Philadelphia & Denver Mints. In this remembrance of 200th Independence Day only reserve sides of the coins are changed and the front sides are the same but there is addition of coin date with 1776- 1976. On the reserve or back side of the coin there was a picture of Independence Hall and the words which were written are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “QUARTER DOLLAR” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.  This rare coin was designed by Jack L. Ahr, 1802 South Highland, Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Kennedy who was the 35th U.S. President and there was a Year written which is 1776- 1976 and the words which were written are “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”. On the reserve or back side of the coin there was a picture of Colonial Drummer  and the words which were written are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “HALF DOLLAR” , “INDEPENDENCE HALL”, “200 YEARS OF FREEDOM” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. This rare coin was designed by Seth G. Huntington, 4153 Aldrich Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

One Dollar Bicentennial Rare Coin has more size than quarter and half dollar. This coin has the head or front side in which there was a picture of Dwight D. Eisen- hower who was the 34th U.S. President and there was a Year written which is 1776- 1976 and the words which were written are “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”. On the reserve or back side of the coin there was a picture of the Moon and Liberty Bell and this liberty bell overlaps the moon. The words which were written are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “ONE DOLLAR”, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. This rare coin was designed by Dennis R. Williams, 880 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.
